Lysine is one type of amino acid known to be composed of protein mostly. This is considered to be a very important nutrient for humans as well as vertebrate animals. - Turkey and Chicken. These two are rich in lysine amino acids especially their wings and breast. Chicken breast, turkey breast, turkey drumsticks, fat – feet ground turkey, chicken wing, chicken drumsticks, and turkey wings are the best producers of lysine.
- May it be bacon, pork tenderloin, ground pork, pork sirloin, ham, and spare ribs; they are all rich in lysine amino acids.
- Soya Foods. This is good news for vegetarians who want to eat lysine rich foods but are restricted due to their kind of diet. Soya products that are rich in lysine are dried frozen tofu, soy flour, soy chips, fried tofu, natto, boiled soybeans and tempeh.
- Believe it or not they are also rich in lysine. Several kinds like salmon, snapper, mackerel, halibut, Pollock, sea bass, haddock, and cod are the ones with the richest lysine.
