Skipping a meal can wreak havoc on your metabolism, and this can actually cause you to gain more weight. And if you skip breakfast you may end up feeling hungrier and groggier throughout the whole day. Ideally, you should eat your recommended portions for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Having a light snack of something like nuts is also recommended if you are feeling hungry in between meals. Overall, it is always a bad idea to starve yourself, as you are doing more harm to your body rather than helping it.

Limit your salt intake

Insoluble fiber is especially important in having a healthier gut. As eating more of it can help you have a more regular bowel movement, and thus also help you combat common causes of tummy aches.
