The Consumer Assessment of Health Providers and Systems Hospital Survey (HCAHPS) is the first nationally standardized inpatient survey whose primary goal is to complement existing survey vendor and hospital-based survey instruments to improve the quality of care being provided across the nation’s hospitals. Avatar has been heavily involved in the development and review phases for HCAHPS implementation.
